Apple: Windows 7′s Technology of Ancient

Windows 7 officially released Microsoft and is marketed worldwide. But for Apple as one of the rival Microsoft, Windows 7 is considered as an operating system that was interesting and outdated.

Crimination is made Brian Croll, Vice President of Worldwide Mac OS X Product Marketing. He claims users are tired of Microsoft Windows and may be switched using a Mac.

“Users of Windows so tired with all the headaches they can for years from Windows ME, NT, Vista and now Windows 7. I think people are looking for something different, and Mac offers ease of use, stability and security,” he said.

Virulent criticism did not stop there. He said Windows 7 does not undergo much change compared to previous Windows. Windows 7 also too expensive compared to what is offered and the risk of security problems.

“Windows 7 is made with a lot of ancient technology, which does not change from the previous Windows releases,” he said. He also predicts many users will switch to Mac.

But so far, many thought the Mac was too expensive when compared to Windows-based PC. Responding to this problem Croll argued that the user still get better value by buying a Mac.

Meanwhile, Microsoft’s own party claims Windows 7 is the best operating system in their history. “Windows 7 is more than just a collection of new features. This is a very important turning point in the history of Microsoft,” said Ashley Highfield, Microsoft Senior Executive.
