Many technology giants Dragged to court
A U.S. technology company beating the drums of war against a lot of technology giants. Unmitigated, some big names like Google, Yahoo, Apple dragged to court.
A company called Eolas Technologies patent it feels have been violated by a number of technology companies. There are approximately 22 leading technology companies that digugatnya to court.
The names of companies hauled into court include Adobe Systems, Google, Yahoo, Apple, eBay and Amazon.com.
In his complaint, saying that the company Eolas technology infringes its patent on technology that enables applications included in the web browser-based applications, including pinning the plug-in.
Dr. Michael D. Doyle, Chairman Eolas claimed that the technology they had developed 15 years ago and they have been widely demonstrated.
“Taking advantage of others’ innovations without paying for an act that is not fair. We want justice,” said Doyle.
It seems that technology companies can not underestimate the Eolas lawsuit, considering that in 2003, Eolas won a lawsuit worth US520, 6 million against Microsoft for patent infringement cases.
