Netbook Dell Trying OS Chrome

Computer manufacturer Dell was getting interested in Chrome the operating system. Proved, they started trying to ‘play’ with Google’s operating system products are on the netbook Dell Mini 10V.

Through a posting on the blog, Dell Technology Strategist, Doug Anson explained that he and some friends were trying to run the OS on a netbook Chromium Dell Mini 10V.

“Without a network connection, Chromium OS unattractive. With a network connection, Chromium OS so bright,” said Anson.

Google plans Chrome for the consumer release next year as an operating system that is web sentric for netbooks.

However, a Google spokesman declined to comment on whether Dell is one of their partners. He merely asserts that Chrome is open source so that open to developers who are interested in tasting it.

In July, Google had said that CS Chrome team was working together with Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, HP, Lenovo, Qualcomm and Toshiba.

In the same month, Anson also released a statement that Dell plans to evaluate the Chrome OS, without explicitly mentioning whether they would adopt the operating system.
